Open semester

The exams for the 3 mandatory courses offered during the open semester will take place on the same date and at the same time in all participating universities.

Two exam sessions are scheduled as follows:

• First session: 20 November 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
• Second session: 10 December 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

Ranking list

The score of the open semester exams will determine the national ranking list valid for admission to the second semester.
 

Minimum requirement
Only candidates who score at least 18 out of 30 in each exam will be eligible for the ranking. 
 

How the ranking list works
The ranking list:

• determines who is eligible
• takes into account the number of intake of each university
• follows the order of preferences indicated by the candidate
   

Enrolment in a related degree programme
Students who:

• score at least 18/30 in all three exams
• but do not place high enough in the rankings to access the chosen programme

may enrol in the second semester of a related programme, within the limit of 20% additional intake reserved for programmes with competitive admission.

The credits (CFU) earned during the open semester will be fully recognized.
 

Once available, the ranking list will be published on the Universitaly website.

If you fail the open semester

If you are not admitted to the second semester of your chosen degree programme (or a related one), you have two options:

1. Repeat the open semester
   You can repeat it up to three times, even in non-consecutive academic years.
    
2. Enrol in a different programme
   • You may choose another course of study, as long as you meet the specific entry requirements (e.g., TOLC test) and there is still intake.
   • The recognition of any previously earned CFU will be evaluated by the new degree programme.

The national rankings or list of students admitted to their chosen course after the first year will be published in this section.

Below you will find the results of the theoretical and practical evaluation test.

ATTENTION: The publication date of the ranking has been postponed. We invite you to consult the revised call for applications on September 19, 2025. The call for applications can be found in the ADMISSION PROCEDURE section.

To enrol in this course, you must meet the following requirements:

• Educational qualification: You must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad.

  • If you have a foreign qualification, check the information dedicated to International Students to verify the validity of your qualification and specific admission requirements.
