Syllabus

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Receive useful knowledge to develop good diagnostic skills, therapeutic orientation and surgical bases in the oro-maxillofacial district.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course students will have to know and understand the main dental pathological conditions in relation to the patient's systemic conditions and polypharmacy
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course students will have to demonstrate knowledge and ability to understand the fundamental concepts and principles on which dental therapy is based, recognize specific cases and apply the concepts to diagnoses and treatments.
MAKING JUDGMENTS: at the end of the course students must be able to collect and interpret clinically relevant data providing appropriate clinical judgements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: at the end of the course students must be able to communicate information, ideas and solutions to clinical problems to colleagues, patients and auxiliary staff.
ABILITY TO LEARN: at the end of the course, students will have to apply the knowledge, skills and minimum competences described in the syllabus and demonstrate a sufficient degree of autonomy in learning the updates.
