KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Achieve the optimal skills in the dental, medical and surgical management of the patient affected by systemic diseases.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING APPLIED : at the end of the course the student will have to demonstrate to be able to know the different clinical pictures and how they relate to each other

The teaching will be divided into lectures with integration and discussion of clinical cases

Lessons are recorded and remain available to the student on the Teams platform

This final oral exam consists of a discussion of the topics covered during the course and deepened during the lessons and aims to ascertain the level of knowledge and competence achieved by the student, mastery of expressive and argumentative tools both during the oral examination both during the presentation of clinical cases. . Specifically, Method of verification of learning: Grade 29-30 and praise: the student has a THOROUGH knowledge of the subject has excellent communication skills and masters the medical-scientific language.Grade 26-28: the student has a GOOD knowledge of the subject and clearly exposes the arguments using an appropriate medical-scientific Oral exam, unique and contextual. The student will have to take the examination of both modules in the exam schedules of the Degree Course. The test consists of an interview in which questions will be asked about at least n. 5 different topics of the program. The test allows to verify: I) the level of knowledge of the matter; II) the clarity of exposition; III) the property of medical-scientific language. The following parameters will be taken into account for the final vote: A) excellent knowledge and understanding of the subjects, reasoning skills and logical integration of the acquired knowledge. Rating: 30/30. If the student, who has achieved this evaluation, demonstrates autonomy of judgment, high communication skills and autonomous learning skills, praise will be proposed. B) Good knowledge and understanding of the topics with some non-serious inaccuracies and with a good capacity for logical integration and judgment. Rating: 27-29 / 30 C) Discrete knowledge and understanding of the topics and, despite some gaps in the ability to integrate and apply knowledge. Rating: 24-26 / 30 D) Knowledge and understanding of the arguments fully sufficient, although there are clear gaps, which are reflected in a reduced capacity for integration, logic and application. Rating 21-23 / 30 E) Knowledge and understanding of the subjects with serious and evident gaps, with insufficient integrative and applicative abilities, but which also allow to pass the exam. Rating 18-20 / 30 f)Exam not passed: the student DOES NOT HAVE THE MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE required of the main contents of the teaching. The ability to use the specific language is very little or nothing and is not able to apply the acquired knowledge independently.
