Receive useful knowledge to develop good diagnostic skills, therapeutic orientation and implantological surgical bases in the craniomaxillofacial area.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course students will have to know and understand the main topics of implant surgery, pre-implant regenerative surgery, treatment of peri-implant diseases
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: at the end of the course students will have to demonstrate knowledge and ability to understand the fundamental concepts and principles on which implant surgery is based, recognize specific cases and apply the concepts to diagnoses and treatments.
MAKING JUDGMENTS: at the end of the course students must be able to collect and interpret clinically relevant data providing appropriate clinical judgements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: at the end of the course students must be able to communicate information, ideas and solutions to clinical problems to colleagues, patients and auxiliary staff.
ABILITY TO LEARN: at the end of the course, students will have to apply the knowledge, skills and minimum competences described in the syllabus and demonstrate a sufficient degree of autonomy in learning the updates.

Oral examination with one final assessment within the evaluation committee. The final grade of the integrated course exam is derived from the weighted average, then weighed on the CFU of each module, obtained in the individual partial tests. For the purposes of defining the average, the possible praise obtained in the partial tests is attributed the value of 1 point, that is the vote of 30 and praise in the partial tests corresponds numerically to the score of 31. In order to be awarded the final examination grade, the student’s weighted average score must be ;30.5. Grading of grades: The test allows to verify: I) the level of knowledge of the subject; II) the expository clarity; III) the property of medical-scientific language. The following parameters will be taken into account for the allocation of the final vote: Grade 29-30 and praise: the student has a DEEP knowledge of the subject, excellent communication skills and masters the medical-scientific language.Grade 26-28: the student has a GOOD knowledge of the subject and explains the topics clearly using appropriate medical-scientific language; Grade 22-25: the student has a DECENT knowledge of the subject, even if limited to the main topics and exposes the arguments in a clear enough way with a fair property of language; Grade 18-21: the student has the MINIMUM knowledge of the subject and exposes the arguments in a sufficiently clear way although the language property is not well developed; Failure to pass: the student DOES NOT HAVE THE MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE required of the main contents of the course. The ability to use the specific language is very low or non-existent and he is not able to apply the acquired knowledge independently.
