• Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, the student will acquire the knowledge of the various evaluation practices of the communication of the total laryngectomized. The student will know how to choose the most suitable rehabilitation for each given patient. To know how to carry out a logopedic assessment and to draw up an adequate report.
• Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
On the basis of the knowledge related to the anatomy and physiology of the pneumo -phono-articulatory system, the student must be able to understand the semeiology and choose, together with the patient, the best possible alaringeal voice.
• Transversal skills
At the end of the course the student will be able to describe and correlate the physiological and pathological processes of the phono-articulatory and respiratory system, with particular regard to laryngeal cancer. The student will be able to choose the most suitable assessments and build a communicative-linguistic profile, completing her/his analysis with an overall patient budget.
Acquiring knowledge and understanding anatomy, physiology, semeiotics, pathology, tractum superioribus aerodigestive's surgery.

Frontal lessons with the aid of video; working groups for in-depth analysis with PowerPoint presentations, presentation of clinical cases and discussion.
