Practical Evaluative Internship

The Practical Evaluative Internship (Tirocinio Pratico Valutativo - TPV) is a compulsory experience established by Interministerial Decree 654/2022 and by the Teaching Regulations of this Course. It enables you to develop technical, interpersonal and procedural skills that are essential to the profession of Psychologist.
 

Structure and duration

• 500 hours (20 CFU) to be completed over a period of at least 4 months (max. 40 hours per week, max. 8 hours per day)
• 14 CFU must be completed at qualified external organisations affiliated with the University
• Each CFU includes at least 20 hours of vocational activities and a maximum of 5 hours of supervision
   

Where it can be carried out

You may choose among public or private accredited healthcare facilities, as well as public or private organisations such as:

• Hospitals and clinics
• Associations, cooperatives, NGOs
• Companies
• Municipalities and schools
• Federations and sports clubs
• Professional firm

The internship must be supervised by a tutor who has been registered in section A of the Italian Register of Psychologists for at least 3 years and who works at least 15 hours per week at the host organisation.
 

How to find a host organisation

You can consult the list of accredited organisations or independently search for a host organisation in Italy or abroad. Before proposing a new organisation, check which opportunities are already available.

Please note that no more than 6 CFU (150 hours) completed at foreign universities can be recognised.

How to apply

You may submit your application starting from the summer session of the first year, before the meetings of the University-Professional Association Joint Internship Committee (Commissione Tirocini Integrata Università-Ordine - CTI).

Steps to follow

1. Find a host organisation and agree the programme with your tutor.
2. Upload the TPV project on Moodle, on the page TPV - OPENING (TPV - APERTURA).
3. Ensure that the start date is at least 15 days after the CTI meeting.
4. At the end, upload on Moodle, on the page TPV - CLOSING (TPV - CHIUSURA):
   • The TPV logbook signed by your tutor
   • The internship evaluation questionnaire
