Syllabus

LEARNING SKILLS: of the terminologies and definitions of primary, secondary and pathognomic skin lesions in the field of dermatology KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: to acquire knowledge of the pathogenesis and classifications of skin diseases, diagnostic criteria, prevention systems, risk factors and their treatment. To acquire, in addition, an adequate ability to differentiate common diseases between emergency/emergency disease through clinical, dermoscopic and anamnestic criteria and initiate, where necessary, a proper diagnostic-therapeutic -care pathway KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Acquire the ability and knowledge of different forms of skin diseases and their pathogenesis and treatment AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: acquire adequate critical processing skills among different forms of skin diseases to be able to recognize emergency/emergency pathologies and able to independently manage the most common pathologies COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: acquiring adequate terminology in dermatology and teleconsultation methodology is essential to interface within the multidisciplinary scientific community

For a satisfactory learning of the contents of this course it is necessary that the student has acquired the basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physiopathology, medical semiotics.

The first test is designed to test the learning of the concepts covered in the module of 814ME-3 - CUTANE AND VENERAL DISEASES. The test involves a written mode of administration with 30 questions and 4 multiple choice answers. The duration of the written test is 60 minutes. The grade is given according to the number of correct answers, is expressed in thirtieths, and the minimum score for passing it is 18/30. The number and type of questions are communicated to students in advance at the beginning of class. Passing the first test is a necessary prerequisite for admission to the final oral examination of the Internal Medicine teaching. Knowledge acquisition will be verified through an written exam (20 questions with 4 multiple choice answers - each counting 1 points) performed by one or more of the the faculty committee Knowledge of the main topics will be verified through general questions discussed during the modules: the student should demonstrate to be orientes in the recognition, in the differential diagnosis of the main diseases presented during the course. The evaluation grid adopted is as follows: Excellent 30 out of 30 (optional with Lode): excellent knowledge of the topics Very Good (27-29): the student is able to correctly apply the knowledge theoretical knowledge to concrete cases Good (24-26): good knowledge of major topics Satisfactory (21-23): the student does not show full mastery of the topics main topics of the teaching, although possessing the fundamental knowledge of them Sufficient (18-20): limited ability to adequately apply theoretical knowledge to concrete cases Insufficient: the student does not possess acceptable content knowledge of the different topics of the program More information on checks: During the calendar year at least 4 sessions of written examination will be held.
