Educational objectives
The Course aims to develop expertise in ship design, shipbuilding, and on-board installations. Students will be able to use their technical and scientific knowledge to address complex problems. The Course is organised into two curriculums allowing students to design and follow a personalised and multidisciplinary learning pathway in preparation for both professional and academic careers.

Graduates in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering may go on to work in shipyards, industries focused on marine resource exploitation, shipping companies and research institutes. Thanks to multidisciplinary skills developed during this course, graduates are also qualified for work in research or private studios and national military services. Final examination and degree
Graduates will receive a master’s degree (EQF 7) upon completion of an original thesis exploring an area of innovation in naval engineering. The project may involve theoretical studies, practical applications or project work. The final examination consists of the defence of this thesis in front of a board of examiners. In this way, students are able to demonstrate their acquired skills, integrating academic study with experience in companies or research laboratories.
