The student will learn about the basic principles of a management systems audit, how to define an audit program while ensuring compliance with the general principles and methodology described within ISO 19011. The student will acquire the necessary knowledge to plan and coordinate the execution of the audit as per the established program, contextualizing it within the organizations in which they will be operating. The student will be able to carry out audit activities in an impartial and objective manner, being careful to express themselves with appropriate language relevant to the subject matter.
No required prerequisites. Basic knowledge of Management Systems is preferred.
Introduction and analysis of the ISO 19011:2018 standard: “Guidelines for auditing management systems”, with particular reference to point 5 “Managing an audit program” and point 6 “Conducting an audit”.

This course explores topics closely related to one or more objectives of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development of United Nations
