Knowledge and understanding - Knowing and understanding the basic elements of physiotherapy, ergonomics and rehabilitation.
Applied knowledge and understanding - Being able to apply knowledge by describing the applications of the elements learned in professional practice.
Making judgments - Having developed the ability to evaluate the correct applications of the skills learned in professional practice.
Communication skills - Knowing how to use technical-professional language correctly and appropriately to clearly and unambiguously present the knowledge acquired and the reasoning developed.

Contents of Anatomy of the respiratory system and the musculoskeletal system (preliminarily carried out by the Anatomy teacher)
Contents of Physiology of the respiratory system and the musculoskeletal system carried out preliminarily.
Elements of particular relevance will in any case be referred to in class.
1. Elements of physical therapy
2. Elements of respiratory physiotherapy
3. Elements of ergonomics
4. Walking assistance
5. Motor reactivation
6. Effort retraining
The presentations of the lessons, accompanied by the reference bibliography, will be made available to the students
Elements of physical therapy: biological action of temperature, pressure, light, mechanical waves and the passage of ions and their use for therapeutic purposes.
Elements of respiratory physiotherapy: objectives and scope of respiratory physiotherapy (lung parenchyma re-expansion, support for mucociliary clearance, role of posture and physical activity on ventilation and perfusion, aids to ventilation and ventilatory muscles).
Elements of ergonomics: control of the center of gravity and posture in the handling of loads and in the handling of people.
Walking assistance: concept of support base, physiological and rational gait of walking aid.
Motor reactivation: recovery of functional activities for daily life.
Effort retraining: strength and duration training, types of training and their impact on muscle tone and trophism and on the activity of the cardiovascular system. WHO guidelines on physical exercise for prevention and well-being.
Interactive frontal lessons with the aid of projections of files in Power Point or compatible format elaborated by the teacher and educational films selected by the teacher. Exercises on exam problems.
The teacher will bring aids and materials typical of professional practice to class, to facilitate integration with the knowledge already possessed by the student and facilitate its relapse into clinical practice.
