Assessment
The evaluation of academic preparation is automatically granted if you meet the curricular requirements and your degree grade is equal to or higher than 90/110.
If your degree grade is below 90/110, you will need to pass an assessment conducted by a Commission of lecturers appointed by the Board of Studies. At the discretion of the Commission, the assessment consists of an oral interview and/or a written test aimed at verifying your general preparation in the basic subjects specific to civil engineering.
You will also be required to undergo the verification of academic preparation if some curricular requirements are not fully met. Typical cases include graduates with a foreign qualification and those whose disciplinary content has been acquired through related subject areas.
Language Skills
A knowledge of English at least at B2 level of the Common European Framework is automatically verified if you obtained your Bachelor’s Degree at this University.
Alternatively, during the preparation assessment procedure, you must upload:
- A self-certification issued by your University explicitly stating your B2 level, if you achieved this level during your Bachelor’s Degree.
- One of the certificates listed in the AICLU list.
If you do not have an adequate certified level, you can still acquire the required competences after enrolment through the University Language Centre (CLA).
