Language skills

The degree programme includes the acquisition of language skills in:

  • English at B2 level (3 CFU for the 2025/2026 cohort)

The total credits required in the study plan for English language skills (B2 level) are awarded through eligibility and can be obtained in two ways:

  1. Submitting an appropriate language certification of level B2 or higher, which must be included in the AICLU certification table.
  2. Taking the tests organised by the CLA (University Language Centre).

  • Medical English and communication skills (2 CFU for the 2025/26 cohort)

The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire the necessary language skills to read and understand scientific papers and biomedical topics and to communicate with patients and healthcare personnel in English-speaking countries.

The credits required in the study plan for Medical English and communcation skills are awarded through eligibility and can be obtained in two ways:

  1. Submitting an appropriate language certification of level C1 or higher, which must be included in the AICLU certification table.
  2. Taking the courses organized by the CLA (University Language Center) on the Rosetta Stone platform and passing the relevant test.
