The significance of sustainability and green building practices cannot be underestimated in today’s world. With the increasing emphasis on environmental conservation and the urgent need to address climate change, it is crucial for the architecture and construction industry to prioritize sustainability. To better understand sustainability and green building practices, it is essential to define these concepts. Sustainability encompasses a set of principles and practices aimed at meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Green building practices, on the other hand, refer to the design, construction, and operation of buildings that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient. This includes energy efficiency, water conservation, and materials selection.
