Syllabus

Know and recognize the meaning of communication, its various types, aspects, and styles.
Aspects of social psychology that affect healthcare professionals.
Deepen the concepts of health and well-being.
Acquire useful tools for working in multicultural healthcare settings.
Know the skills needed for professionals in one-on-one and team work.
Know guidelines and best practices and integrate them appropriately.
Apply the acquired knowledge in the workplace.
Acquire the ability to reflect independently on the relational processes required by professional practice.
Develop the ability to express concepts with appropriate language and mastery of technical terminology.
Develop critical thinking and personal, independent processing skills.

No prerequisites are required.

If the desire to delve deeper into a specific topic is expressed, the student will be individually responded to with the suggestion of texts related to the request.



The course includes mainly frontal teaching, with the active participation of the students, with the support of slides.

The materials used by the teacher during the course will be available on the Moodle and/or MS Teams platform.
Any Erasmus students / non-attending students are invited to contact the teacher
The lessons are held in person and are recorded.
The recordings are available on the University platform.
Students with special needs (affected by particular disabilities, workers, athletes, "adults" (not recent graduates), parents, prisoners) who are, permanently or temporarily, in particular conditions that make it impossible to follow the lessons in person, will be allowed to connect remotely upon request of this attendance method to the teacher. The request, for which the student assumes personal responsibility, must be sent via email to the teacher well in advance of the start of the lessons.

The exam includes a written test consisting of multiple choice questions.
The exam score is awarded by means of a grade expressed in thirtieths calculated based on the number of correct answers.
The exam is passed with a score of 18/30. The student must answer 10 questions exactly.
To obtain the maximum score, the student must answer all the questions exactly.
