KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:to acquire basic knowledge about the prevention of common dermatologic infection diseases and
neoplastic diseases
To understand the underlying pathogenesis diseases
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT acquire adequate critical processing skills among different forms of skin diseases for their prevention
COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: acquiring adeguate terminology in dermatology is essential to interface within health care and scientific community
For a satisfactory learning of the contents of this course it is necessary that the student has acquired the basic knowledge of anatomy and clinical pathology
The program aims to let students know about prevention of main cutaneous infections and infestations and sexually transmitted diseases. To acquire, in addition knowledge about prevention of melanoma and neoplastic cutaneous diseases.

Knowledge acquisition will be verified throught a written exam ( 30 questions with 4 multiple choice answers -each counting 1 point). The duration of the written test is 60 minutes. The grade is given according to the number of correct answers, is expressed in thirtieths and the minimum score for passing it is 18/30.
