Syllabus

Knowledge and understanding.
the student will have to acquire the basic knowledge of photography, the principles of photography, the operation of the camera with particular attention to the clinical instrument.

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding.

the student must be able to apply the acquired photographic knowledge demonstrating in autonomy.

Judgment autonomy.
The student must be able to use the knowledge acquired to evaluate the images, identify possible shots and exposure errors and remedy them autonomously.

Introduction about the types of photography.
Clinical photographic documentation, how is made, how is created, managed and archived.
Technical description of the acquisition systems of traditional images used and their practical use
The light

General and operating characteristics of a camera:
Lens, Aperture, shutter, viewfinder, shutter, the camera obscura, the focal plane.
Elements of Optics:
Focus and aperture
The diaphragm and its effects on Prof. Campo.

Lectures with slides on the blackboard, practical demonstrations of the cameras present in the clinic, photography exercises in the classroom and in the department of dental unit

Oral examination .The assessment includes the evaluation of the images made by the student during the practical exercises in the classroom
