Study Plan description

TAF - Healthcare Bachelor's Degree

The Study Plan is based on six types of educational activities (TAF), each associated with a specific number of credits (CFU).

The total credits required to complete the programme amount to at least 180 CFU.

The educational activities included in the programme are as follows:

  • TAF A: Core educational activities
  • TAF B: Specialist educational activities (including professional placements)
  • TAF C: Related and supplementary educational activities
  • TAF D: Educational activities freely chosen by the student, provided they are consistent with the programme's objectives
  • TAF E: Activities related to
    • the final assessment
    • verification of proficiency in at least one foreign language
  • TAF F: Other educational activities, such as IT, seminars, etc., as well as professional laboratories specific to the disciplinary field

The Study Plan for your cohort, which includes the list of courses and other educational activities, is attached to the Academic Regulations and can be viewed on the Study Plan page. Any prerequisites are specified in the study plan of each cohort.

Courses under TAF A, B, C, E, and F are mandatory.
For further information, please refer to the specific pages.
In addition to these educational activities, students must include elective courses (TAF D) in their Study Plan, allowing them to shape their academic path based on personal interests and future career choices.

All elective courses are activated each year, so students are advised to check annually that their chosen courses are available. Courses added in later years that are not subsequently activated will need to be replaced by submitting a modification to the Study Plan.

Please note that, while the schedules of elective courses offered by the Study Programme are arranged to avoid overlap with mandatory courses, compatibility with the schedules of courses from other study programmes cannot be guaranteed. Students must check these schedules independently.

Submit your Study Plan as outlined in the dedicated page, indicating your selected optional and elective courses of interest.

Further Information on Elective Courses

The elective courses (TAF D) that can be included in your Study Plan comprise:

  • Courses activated annually and specifically designed for the educational objectives of the Degree Programme, which are added to the Study Plan through the online procedure and are automatically approved.
  • Courses belonging to other Degree Programmes within the University, provided they are consistent with the student’s educational pathway.
