The general objective of the module is to provide the student with the fundamental information of care planning for people affected by the main internal medicine pathologies on the basis of knowledge of the most recurrent pathologies.
- Knowledge and understanding:
at the end of the course students who study to have acquired knowledge and to have developed the ability to understand the fundamental aspects of nursing in the medical area and to have developed.
- Ability to apply and understand:
to the course the student must be able to apply the knowledge acquired in the integrated course and to draw up and implement an appropriate care plan for the patients who present the pathological pictures treated.
-Autonomy of judgment:
during the course of the course the student must be able to evaluate the clinical cases that arise, choose the care plan and evaluate the term and the iti.
- Communication skills:
at the end of the course the student must be able to understand the concepts learned with a specific and appropriate language.
-Learning ability:
in the course the student will have to demonstrate that he has learned the cardinal principles of assistance in the medical internist area and that he / she has implemented an adequate assistance approach.

Face-to-face theoretical lessons.
Interactive frontal lessons with the aid of projections of files in Power Point or compatible format elaborated by the teacher. Exercises on exam problems.

Verification of learning will take place through a written test with open questions regarding assistance to patients suffering from the clinical pictures described during the course and related to the health education to be offered to the patient.
The score of the exam is attributed by means of a mark expressed out of thirty as follows:
10 points for knowledge of the pathological framework of reference,
10 points for the description of the care approach,
10 points for the description of the health education intervention of reference to the proposed clinical case.
To pass the exam, the student must achieve at least a sufficient score (>6) for each of the three required tests.
