KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Know the pathophysiology of nephropathic subjects;
Knows the principles of action of replacement treatments: hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis;
knows the vascular accesses for the management of dialysis; Tesio catheter, arteriovenous fistula:
Identifies the care needs of the user undergoing hemodialysis treatment;
Identifies the care needs of the user on peritoneal dialysis;
Knows the characteristics of the renal transplant user;
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Distinguishes the different replacement treatments;
Identifies the strategies for the management of the renal patient in replacement treatment;
identifies vascular accesses for hemodialysis;
Locate Tenckhoff's peritoneal catheter for peritoneal dialysis treatment;
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT
Establishes the care pathways of the dialysed user;
Identify the different vascular accesses for hemodialysis treatments;
Recognizes a Tenckhoff catheter for peritoneal dialysis;

Thighs and uses correct professional technical terminology to describe priority health problems being treated;

End of life in nephrology and suspension of replacement treatment

Interactive frontal lessons with the aid of projections of files in Power Point or compatible format elaborated by the teacher. Exercises on exam problems.

The power point presentations, links to films and videos relating to the teaching units are available on the IT platforms moodle@units and Microsoft Teams

Written test consisting of 5 multiple choice questions. Duration of the test 1 hour. The final grade is qualitative expressed in APPROVED/NOT APPROVED according to the following criteria: 2 points for each correct multiple answer and 0 points if an incorrect or missing answer. From 6 points the test is passed
