Addictional Education Requirements (OFA)

An Additional Learning Requirement (OFA) is a pathway assigned to you if, during an entrance test or initial assessment, you do not achieve the minimum score required in a specific subject area or fail to meet certain prerequisites for your study programme. Its purpose is to help you address any gaps and better prepare for your academic journey.

If you have not completed your Additional Educational Requirements (OFA) within the first year of your degree course, you can temporarily enrol in the second year, but you will only be able to take your second-year exams if you have completed your OFA within the set deadline.

If you do not pass the OFA within the set deadline, you will be enrolled as a first-year student in a supplementary year. This means that you will not be able to attend any second-year courses and therefore you will not be allowed to sit any second-year exams.

How to fulfill the OFA

If you scored below 18 in the TOLC-S or if you did not take the test, you will be required to attend first-year tutoring activities until you have fulfilled the Additional Learning Requirements by passing the first exam in Mathematical Institutions (Istituzioni matematiche).
