Addictional Education Requirements (OFA)

An Additional Learning Requirement (OFA) is a pathway assigned to you if, during an entrance test or initial assessment, you do not achieve the minimum score required in a specific subject area or fail to meet certain prerequisites for your study programme. Its purpose is to help you address any gaps and better prepare for your academic journey.

If you do not fulfil the OFA by the end of the first year, you will still be allowed to enrol in the second year, but you will not be permitted to take the corresponding exams until the requirements are met.

How fulfil the OFA

If you have not taken the TOLC test or scored below 18 points, you will need to fulfil the OFA requirement by passing a specific multiple-choice test. This test must be taken alongside the Analysis I exam during the first semester of the first year.

To help students pass the OFA, specific mentoring and tutoring initiatives will be organised. These will also cover and discuss fundamental topics related to first-year courses.

English language requirement

If you do not have at least a B2 level of English proficiency, you can fulfil the OFA requirement by passing a B2-level qualification test. To support you in achieving this goal, specific training activities will be organised.
